About

My work is rooted in compassion, authenticity and self-care and while becoming fit, flexible and strong can be byproducts of practicing yoga, it is not the focus of my classes. Moreso do I hope for you to build a relationship with yourself and your body that is healthy and centred in acceptance of where you are right now. We all need support, but we also need ways to manage, regulate and soothe ourselves.

What's Unfolding

Since June 2025, I have begun my formal training as a yoga therapist - a two-year journey that will further deepen my offerings and support.

This step feels like a natural continuation of my path — a person-centred, therapeutic use of yoga to support people living with emotional distress, persistent health conditions, or the quiet, personal work of coming home to the body.

I'll share more about that as it unfolds — and I welcome you to walk alongside me as it does.

I’m committed to honouring yoga’s South Asian roots with context, care, and ongoing self-reflection as a white teacher. This includes amplifying South Asian voices and staying aware of the line between sharing and appropriating.

I mostly use verbal cues rather than hands-on adjustments, to support consent, autonomy, and safety.

I’m not here to change yoga — just to offer it in a way that:

    •    honours its origins

    •    respects all bodies

    •    is sensitive to trauma

    •    and stays true to who I am
